Pumpkin Nog

Need something to get you into the holiday spirit? How about hot Pumpkin Nog! It is so yummy and warm and creamy. I have made it several times since Amy Johnson shared the recipe with me. Now I’m going to share it with all of you! You can also drink this cold if you can resist guzzling it all down as soon as it is made. This recipe makes 2-3 servings depending on size but I have been known to make it while my kids are doing their daily quiet time so that I won’t have to share.

I’m also going to tell you how to make it LOD compatible if you need that. I am drinking the LOD version myself.

Hot Pumpkin Nog

Put all ingredients into blender in order shown then blend. Pour into a mug and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!

LOD version

Instead of cinnamon on top sprinkle Nutmeg. Nutmeg is a much lower oxalate spice.

Also instead of pumpkin pie spice I use one drop each of Be Young Cinnamon Essential Oil and Be Young Clove Essential Oil. To order these superior quality essential oils at a great price see this page. Be Young Essential Oils
